Suspects of providing fuel and logistical support to vessels used in drug trafficking, known as "narco speedboats," are said to have left Portuguese territory while an investigation by the Public Prosecutor's Office was ongoing. Eight people were detained by the Maritime Police at the mouth of the Tagus river approximately one year ago. The police operation took place within the scope of an investigation aimed at dismantling a supply network for these fast vessels used in the transport of illicit substances. Currently, the investigation remains unresolved, with the suspects outside the country.
