A sudden flood struck on Saturday the Grand Canyon National Park, causing an emergency situation at the site. The flooding was the result of sudden weather conditions that affected the park area.
Dozens of people were evacuated from the site during the emergency operation carried out after the flood. The rescue teams managed to evacuate the visitors who were in danger zones.
However, park authorities are seeking information about 20 people who remain unreachable. Emergency teams continue to try to establish contact with these individuals to confirm their safety.
