Participation in the Guinea-Bissau Constitution referendum exceeded 50%, according to the spokesperson for the country's National Elections Commission (CNE), Idriça Djaló. The referendum took place and the process was considered positive by the electoral authorities.
Idriça Djaló stated that the "process went, globally well", expressing satisfaction with the holding of the suffrage. However, it was not revealed when the official results of the referendum will be known.
