FC Felgueiras won this Sunday against Grupo Desportivo de Chaves 2-1 in a match from the fourth round of League 2. The match took place in Felgueiras and pitted two teams still seeking their first victory in the competition.

A formação orientada por Moreno Teixeira entrou melhor e conseguiu chegar à vantagem perto do intervalo. Dudu Cruz, aos 40 minutos, colocou os felgueirenses na frente, resultado que se manteve até ao intervalo.
No início da segunda parte, Mario Rivas voltou a marcar e aumentou a vantagem do Felgueiras para 2-0, aos 48 minutos.
O Chaves reagiu e reduziu a diferença aos 63 minutos, por intermédio de André Rodrigues, mas não conseguiu chegar ao empate até ao apito final.
Com este resultados, o Chaves continua sem vencer nesta edição da Liga 2 e mantém-se nos lugares inferiores da tabela, com apenas um ponto, em igualdade pontual com o Feirense. Já o FC Felgueiras passa a somar seis pontos e sobe ao 10.º lugar da classificação.
O encontro ficou ainda marcado pelo reencontro de Moreno Teixeira com o Chaves, clube que orientou na temporada 2023/24, no principal escalão do futebol português.
