Renata Frisson, better known as Mulher Melão, director of the musas at Acadêmicos do Salgueiro, denies that the school demanded R$ 300 thousand from Gkay to remain in the musa position for Carnival 2027. According to her, this amount appeared as a goal for attracting sponsorship funding, not as a price for the spot. The story became public on Saturday, when portal LeoDias exclusively reported that the school allegedly demanded this amount for Gkay's participation. It is believed that this requirement was the reason for her refusal.
Renata Frisson told GLOBO the details of the origin of this proposal. According to her, the idea came from a project that actress Bruna Griphao had been trying to implement since last year to support social initiatives. Based on this, Renata individually spoke with each of the musas who have access to sponsors, seeking support for these projects.
She used an expression when making the proposal about them being able to collaborate through sponsors. Later, Gkay's representative wrote a message interpreting this proposal.
