A twenty-year-old young man killed his 50-year-old stepfather in the city of Maia. The young man had a disagreement with his stepfather and ended up stabbing him. The victim still tried to call the police by phone, but did not survive the injuries.
After the crime, the young man left the house where the homicide occurred. Some time later, the suspect decided to voluntarily present himself at a PSP police station to confess the crime.
The young man claims he acted in self-defense, protecting himself and also his mother. The investigation into the complete circumstances of the case is being handled by the authorities.
