Thousands of police officers across the country have their professional careers frozen due to delays in public competitions. The situation directly affects agents who are waiting for career progression and who depend on the completion of these processes to advance professionally.
One of the most emblematic cases is that of the training course required for promotion to the rank of coordinating agent. This training should have started in December last year, but is completely stalled with no forecast of when it can be held.
The affected agents are quite outraged by the situation and demand concrete answers from both the Government and the National Directorate of PSP. The police officers consider the lack of information and the inaction of the authorities regarding the freezing of their careers unacceptable.
