Celso, president of the Câmara Municipal of Câmara de Lobos, thanked the commitment of all operatives and entities involved in fighting the fire that broke out yesterday evening at Furneira, in Jardim da Serra.
The president highlighted the firefighters' response and the work carried out by the Regional Civil Protection Service and Municipal Civil Protection in fighting the flames.
Celso expressed very special thanks to all the firefighters and operatives who were on the ground, to the various fire brigades mobilized and to all forces involved in the firefighting operation.
The president is still awaiting clarification on what may have caused the fire, referring to it as "suspicious," suggesting that the origin of the flames may not have been accidental.
