During the first bullfighting day of the Fiestas del Cristo de l'Alcora, held on Saturday, August 29, a moment of great tension occurred during the celebration of the bous embolats. A rabero suffered a fall when he was very close to the bull, causing the animal to throw itself at him.
The bull ended up hitting the rabero on several occasions during the incident. However, all the impacts were light and did not cause serious damage to the man involved.
The bous embolats are a bullfighting tradition characteristic of the festivities in the l'Alcora region, where participants control the bulls through ropes tied to the tail area, bringing them closer to spectators in a controlled manner. This type of event, although it is a local tradition, involves significant risks for the participants who handle the animals directly.
