The city of Machico hosted on Sunday the second edition of the Machico Classic Car Fest, an event dedicated to classic vehicles organized by the Domingo Clássico Madeira group, with the support of the Junta de Freguesia de Machico. The event took place between 11am and 5pm, occupying Praça do Fórum and Alameda dos Plátanos.
The event brought together approximately 175 classic and pre-classic vehicles, covering automobiles manufactured up to 1993. This is a gathering of wheeled relics that attracted enthusiasts and visitors to the region.
The festival program included musical entertainment, with DJ João Canada performing starting at 2pm. The afternoon was also marked by the awarding of trophies to participants, recognizing the owners of the vehicles present at the event.
