The EXTRA newspaper announces the launch of a new weekly column called "Ação de Responsa", which premieres next Tuesday. The column will be written by reporter Isabella Cardoso and will focus on stories, initiatives and practices that transform life in the communities of Rio de Janeiro.
The weekly space will bring an attentive look at social responsibility, inclusion and diversity projects promoted by companies, NGOs and local leaders. The proposal is to show how the ESG concept translates into practice in the daily lives of the population of Rio de Janeiro state, addressing what is being done and by whom.
The column intends to move beyond discourse and focus on what happens directly in the territories: in the favelas and their surroundings, in schools, in cultural spaces, in training projects and in income generation initiatives. Companies, institutes, NGOs and community leaders will be among the subjects featured in the reports.
In addition to presenting projects and good practices, the column will also bring numbers that help quantify the results of these initiatives, offering readers a more complete view of the impact of social responsibility actions in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
