Talking on the phone, making video calls, or watching content without headphones are among the behaviors that most annoy passengers during airplane travel. This is according to a survey conducted by the specialized website The Points Guy (TPG), in partnership with YouGov, which surveyed 2,500 adults in the United States about on-board etiquette rules.
The noise caused by electronic devices tops the complaints. According to the survey, 27% of respondents pointed to phone or video calls as the most annoying behavior from other passengers.
Additionally, 40% of participants believe airlines should prohibit this type of call during flights. The phenomenon also extends to pre-boarding areas, where passengers sit using cell phones to watch videos without headphones.
