Spain begins the new course with an economy that continues to surprise positively, but also with the feeling that the economic cycle is entering a more demanding phase. The country grows well above the euro zone, employment moves at historic highs and unemployment has fallen below 10%.
At the same time, inflation is recovering, the housing sector absorbs an increasing part of disposable income and European funds face their end. The Spanish Government faces another autumn without having approved new General State Budgets since 2023.
