The executive director of the National Health Service visited a hospital to directly learn about the problems faced by the health unit. During the visit, several concerns affecting the operation of the institution were identified.
One of the main issues pointed out was the "structural deficit" of nurses and health auxiliaries, which represents a significant challenge for the hospital's response capacity. This lack of human resources has a direct impact on the services provided to users.
"LIMITATIONS" in the current Emergency department of the hospital were also identified, suggesting that the facilities or available resources are not sufficient to meet demand. This situation may compromise the quality of care provided to patients who use this service.
Another concern mentioned was the "insufficient capacity" of the Operating Theatre, which limits the ability to perform surgeries and may generate longer waiting lists for patients who need surgical intervention.
