Music in Basque (the Basque language) is breaking barriers and achieving historic capacity crowds in the major stadiums of Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao, something normally reserved for the biggest global music stars.

Artists like Bad Bunny and Bruno Mars have already gathered tens of thousands of people in Spain, demonstrating the capacity of these venues to host major international shows.

In September, it will be Shakira's turn to perform in Madrid, in a temporary venue built specifically for the event, with capacity for 50,000 attendees.

This phenomenon of music in Basque represents a historic milestone, showing that artists who sing in this minority language can attract audiences comparable to those of the biggest names in the global music industry.
