Two people were rescued in the Tagus River, in Salvaterra de Magos, after getting trapped by the tide. The situation occurred when the bathers were unable to get out of the water due to changing tide conditions. The firefighters responded quickly to the rescue operation, ensuring the safety of the two bathers. The action of the rescue personnel made it possible to avoid more serious consequences for the people involved. After the rescue, the two people were assessed and did not require hospital assistance. The situation was resolved with no injuries, thanks to the prompt response of the firefighters.
