Football / League: FC Arouca defeats Marítimo after being behind (2-1)

FC Arouca beat Marítimo 2-1 in a home game, corresponding to the fourth round of the Portuguese football League. The Arouca players achieved the comeback, as at halftime the score was level at one goal each.

The FC Arouca team came into this match after a defeat at FC Porto's ground. With this victory, the third of the season, the Wolves now have 9 points, provisionally occupying third place in the standings.

Marítimo, on the other hand, suffered their first defeat of the championship. The island team remains with 7 points and occupies fifth place in the table.

O FC Arouca venceu na receção ao Marítimo por 2-1 em partida a contar para a jornada 4 da Liga de futebol. Ao intervalo, o jogo registava um empate a um golo.

Os arouquenses, que chegaram à vitória após reviravolta, vinham de uma derrota no reduto do FC Porto.  Após a terceira vitória, os Lobos somam 9 pontos, ocupando a 3ª posição à condição.

Já o Marítimo sofreu a primeira derrota, seguindo com 7 pontos em 5º lugar.
