Varzim thrashes Trofense at home and advances in the Portuguese Cup

Varzim defeated Trofense by a thrashing at home and advanced to the next round of the Portuguese Cup. The match took place at Varzim's ground, a club known as the Sea Wolves.

The visiting team from Trofense managed to score first, establishing the initial lead on the scoreboard during the first half of the match.

However, the Sea Wolves refused to be affected by the goal they conceded and managed to turn the result around, inverting the score in their favor.

With this victory, Varzim secures their passage in the Portuguese Cup competition, thus eliminating Trofense from this edition of the tournament.
