Carlos Eduardo Cerqueira, 52, a volleyball professor, died this Saturday after spending 65 days in a coma following an assault in downtown Rio de Janeiro in June. He suffered a head injury and remained hospitalized in the ICU at Hospital Municipal Souza Aguiar. Security cameras recorded the moment of the assault, but the suspect has not yet been identified.
