The Union of All Education Professionals (STOP) is contesting requests for the return of thousands of euros directed at some senior technicians working in schools. The amounts in question are related to the 2017/18 performance evaluation biennium.
According to STOP, the situation results from errors or interpretations on the part of the Agency for the Management of the Education System. This agency allegedly made errors in how it processed or interpreted the data related to the performance evaluation of senior technicians.
The affected senior technicians are receiving notifications to return amounts they allegedly received improperly during the period in question. The union argues that the responsibility for errors not attributable to the workers should not fall on them.
