Académica suffered their first defeat in four games in Liga 2, losing at home 0-2 against Lusitânia Lourosa, in the 4th round of the competition. Despite having a large crowd in the stands, the fans' support wasn't enough to avoid the defeat of Briosa's team.

The match took place at the Municipal Stadium of Coimbra, home of Académica, which once again gathered a significant crowd in the stands. The "wave" of support mentioned in the title refers to the atmosphere created by the fans, which couldn't help the team achieve a positive result.

Lusitânia Lourosa was the winning team, prevailing by two goals without reply. This victory represents a milestone for the visiting side, which managed to take all three points away from home against an Académica that had not yet lost in this edition of Liga 2.

The defeat leaves Académica without the points that could have consolidated their position in the standings. This was the first time Briosa failed to earn at least one point in a game this season, breaking a positive streak that had lasted since the beginning of the competition.
