Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Senator Bolsonaro launched today the free electoral campaign on national radio and television networks, with harsh mutual attacks. These are the main candidates in the October presidential elections in Brazil.
Lula focused on accusations involving his main adversary, including the much-talked-about controversy surrounding the "Dark Horse" film, which tells the story of Bolsonaro's father, Jair Bolsonaro.
The film's financing involved former banker Daniel Vorcaro, from Banco BMG, in an investigation that also appeals to the figure of the current president of the Republic. Lula's accusations aim to associate the Bolsonaro family with financial controversies.
