Chinese car brands are no longer considered a residual alternative or exclusively associated with the economic range. This is one of the main conclusions of a study conducted by the Spanish portal coches.net.
According to the research, 37.1% of buyers planning to acquire a vehicle in the future express interest in buying a Chinese-brand model. This value represents almost four in ten buyers.
The trend is even more pronounced among consumers with greater financial capacity. Among buyers with budgets over 50,000 euros, the intention to purchase a Chinese car rises to 41.3%, that is, more than 40% of this segment.
The study indicates that Chinese brands are gaining ground among buyers with higher budgets, no longer being associated only with low-cost vehicles in the automotive market.
