The Diocese Museum of Santarém celebrates its twelfth anniversary on August 30th, marking over a decade of preserving Ribatejo's religious heritage. The cultural institution welcomes singer Márcia on that Sunday at 6 PM for a performance in its inner courtyard.
The performance is part of the Summer Concert program +MUSEU2026, an initiative that promotes encounters between the local community and sacred art. The event aims to reinforce the museum's role as a space for cultural coexistence in the city of Santarém.
In an interview with Correio do Ribatejo, Eva Neves, a collaborator of the Diocese of Santarém, spoke about the importance of the institution for the region. The museum, which belongs to the Diocese, has the mission to collect, conserve, and disseminate pieces of religious and historical value from the Ribatejo region.
