The National Association of Parish Councils (ANAFRE) initiated a round of contacts with the Intermunicipal Communities (CIM) to reinforce the dialogue between these entities.
The main objective of this initiative is to ensure more active participation of parish councils in defining investment priorities at local and regional levels.
The parish councils also intend to have greater influence in the application of European funds available for the coming years.
This round of contacts arises in the context of the need to optimize the use of European funds and ensure that parish councils, as proximity entities, have a more relevant role in decision-making processes.
