Rain continues unabated in Nepal, worsening the difficulties of rescue operations in the country. Jorge Silva, vice-president of ASPROCIVIL, warned about the significant risks that rescue teams face in this situation. According to Silva, a very large amount of water is beginning to accumulate behind the barriers that were created by the landslides of earth and rocks. These barriers, made up of earth and rocks, represent in themselves a blockage to rescue operations, making the teams' work even more dangerous and complex.
