At least 27 people died and 42 were injured after a Russian attack on an explosives depot in the outskirts of Kyiv, Ukraine. The attack caused a major fire and several explosions at the ammunition depot, causing significant destruction in the area.

More than 200 people were forced to leave their homes in the village of Myla, due to the severity of the situation and the risk of further explosions. Local authorities worked to ensure the safety of residents during the emergency.

The Ukrainian Prosecutor's Office opened an investigation to determine possible negligence in the storage conditions of the ammunition at the depot hit. The authorities want to determine whether there were failures in the security protocols that may have contributed to the extent of the damage caused by the attack.
