A Russian attack on an explosives warehouse in the vicinity of Kiev caused at least 27 dead, according to the latest count. More than 42 people were injured as a result of the incident, which caused extensive damage in the affected area.
Local authorities proceeded with the evacuation of 380 people from the surrounding areas of the warehouse, in an operation that involved emergency and civil protection resources to ensure the safety of nearby residents.
Moscow went public stating that the target of the attack was an arms depot where equipment would be manufactured to produce drones. Russia justified the raid as an action targeted against strategic military infrastructure.
