More than 100 companies with Portuguese capital are expected at the International Maputo Fair (Facim) 2026. The event begins on Monday and represents a significant reinforcement of the Portuguese presence in one of the main African markets.
The Portuguese participation in the event demonstrates the growing interest of national companies in exploring business opportunities in Mozambique. The African country already hosts approximately 500 Portuguese companies operating in various sectors of the local economy.
Facim is recognized as one of the most important trade fairs on the African continent, attracting investors and companies from multiple nationalities. The 2026 edition promises to be a milestone in the commercial relations between Portugal and Mozambique.
