The Russian attack hit an ammunition depot in the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital, causing the explosions that resulted in the deaths. Zelensky stated that there are regulations in force that prohibit storing ammunition near houses and other residential areas.
The Ukrainian president said that the appropriate conclusions will be drawn regarding the incident. The update on the number of fatalities was confirmed after the attack on the depot.
