Government guarantees full execution of PRR: Portugal met all targets

SOL28 August 2026 at 11:21

The Portuguese Government announced that the country fully executed the Recovery and Resilience Plan, meeting all targets established within the agreed deadline with the European Commission. This full execution represents a significant achievement for Portugal in the context of post-pandemic European recovery funds. The total value secured through the RRP amounts to more than 16 billion euros in subsidies, essential for financing various structural reforms and investments in the country. This successful completion of the plan positions Portugal as one of the European Union member states that achieved all the objectives established under this recovery instrument.
