Three tawny owls return to nature in Santa Marta de Penaguião

Three tawny owls (Strix aluco) were returned to the wild on August 21 in São João de Lobrigos, Santa Marta de Penaguião, after recovering from injuries at the UTAD Wildlife Animal Recovery Center (CRAS). The birds had been found injured in a residential area of the mentioned parish and subsequently taken to the center, where they received the necessary care until they were ready to return to their natural habitat.
