The Lisbon and Vale do Tejo Directorate of the Judicial Police arrested a 30-year-old man, suspected of the crime of urban fire in a building, which occurred on August 16th in Lisbon.

The fire took place in the room where the suspect lived, having been started by applying direct flame to the mattress of the bed, where some clothing items were located.

The fire resulted in damage to the room caused by the action of heat and the settling of soot on the walls and surfaces.

The fire also created danger for the remaining occupants of the building, putting the safety of other people present at the location at risk.
