Almost 50 operatives are fighting a forest fire in Tavira, in the Algarve. The fire is active and combat resources are being positioned on the ground, according to authorities.
The Algarve Sub-regional Command of the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC) confirmed that the fire remains active and that operatives are on site intervening.
