France: Macron inaugurates Bayeux Tapestry exhibition in London

French President Emmanuel Macron inaugurated an exhibition of the Bayeux Tapestry in London. The Élysée described this moment as being of "special importance," desired by the President of the Republic to strengthen the relationship between France and Great Britain.

Macron aims to thereby "highlight" what is described as an "exceptional loan." The decision regarding this loan had been made by the French president in the year 2025.
