Iceland holds today a decisive referendum on the resumption of accession negotiations to the European Union, with Icelanders voting on an issue that has divided the country. There are approximately 160 thousand patients registered at health centers in Portugal who are not entitled to a family doctor, being considered "not eligible" either because they live outside the country or because they have not contacted the NHS in the last five years. The new rules of the National Patient Registry (RNU) have changed the calculation basis, thereby reducing the number of patients without an assigned family doctor.
