PS/Açores wants "urgent solution" for the problems affecting reimbursements of air travel for Azoreans

SAPO Notícias28 August 2026 at 23:41

The leader of PS/Açores, Francisco César, demanded this Friday from the Republic's Government an "urgent solution" for the problems that continue to affect the reimbursements of air travel for Azoreans. The demand was made through a party statement.

Francisco César referred to a situation that persists and harms the residents of the Azores, a Portuguese autonomous region composed of islands scattered in the Atlantic, where air transport is essential for the mobility of the population.

The Azorean socialist party believes that the national executive has the responsibility to resolve this issue, which directly affects the daily life of Azorean citizens, for whom air travel often represents the only means of connection between the various islands and between the archipelago and the mainland.

This is not the first time that PS/Açores has raised this issue, revealing that the problem of air travel reimbursements remains unresolved, causing significant inconvenience to the population of the region.

Trump has always denied Daniels' allegations and said he did nothing wrong, having tried to overturn the conviction both through transfer to federal court and through an appeal process in state court.
