Jeweller robbed in France. Family kidnapped and held captive

A jeweller was robbed and attacked at his own home, in Saint-Georges-d'Espéranche, France. The attack was carried out by a group of armed and masked criminals who broke into the residence during the night. The robbers woke up the entire family and proceeded to kidnap all members present in the house. The family was held captive during the period in which the robbery took place, being deprived of their freedom while the criminals acted. The French authorities are said to have been alerted to the incident, initiating investigations to identify and locate those responsible for this crime.
