Works on IP3 cause night-time traffic cuts in Tondela

The duplication and requalification works on the IP3 are causing night-time traffic cuts in the municipality of Tondela. These interventions are part of a large-scale project that covers the stretch between Santa Comba Dão and Viseu.

The project covers a total extension of 27.5 kilometres of the current IP3 road platform. This intervention represents an investment of approximately 103 million euros.

The night-time cuts affect the circulation of motorists during the night, with temporary detours and restrictions being necessary while the works are underway.

The work aims to improve the safety and fluidity conditions of that road that links the localities of Santa Comba Dão to Viseu, responding to the mobility needs of the region.
