Vegetation clearing does not violate labor laws, says ACT

The Authority for Working Conditions (ACT) reported that vegetation clearing at the Cruz Quebrada site does not constitute a violation of labor laws, after conducting an inspection of the site where vegetation removal work was taking place.

ACT decided to maintain secrecy regarding requests for asbestos removal related to this situation, not revealing details about the requests made regarding this dangerous material.

An anonymous association reported risks to public health associated with this situation, expressing concern about the conditions of the site and potential dangers to the population.

The case is taking place in the Cruz Quebrada area, where vegetation clearing work attracted the attention of labor authorities and generated controversy regarding the management of dangerous materials such as asbestos.
