Spain increases aid to Ceuta to 44.51 million euros

The Spanish government increased the aid destined for Ceuta from 6.4 million to 44.51 million euros. This decision represents a significant reinforcement of the resources allocated to the autonomous city.

More than 72,000 migrants entered Ceuta during July 30 and 31, which explains the need for an urgent reinforcement of funds to face the situation.

The minister in question argues that an "extraordinary" response is needed from the Spanish executive to deal with this migration crisis on Europe's southern border.
