JPP accuses Regional Government of social response failures

The party Juntos Pelo Povo (JPP) accused the Regional Government of failures in social response, considering that the decision to transfer 30 patients with complex discharges to Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS) represents a reflection of a breakdown situation in Madeira's health system.

According to JPP, this transfer of patients to IPSS highlights the difficulties that the regional health system currently faces. The situation was interpreted by the party as a sign that the system is not managing to provide adequate responses to users who need prolonged care.

Juntos Pelo Povo expressed concern about the state of the Madeiran health system, suggesting that the transfer of these 30 patients to social institutions should not be the solution to address the identified failures. The party believes that this measure represents a transfer of responsibilities to the social sector.
