Banker Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, testified to the Federal Police on Friday. It was the first time this year that Vorcaro officially spoke to the corporation. During the testimony, the businessman demonstrated willingness to make a plea deal agreement with the Federal Police, this being the third attempt in that regard.
In a statement, Vorcaro's defense said he answered all questions from the delegates clearly and consistently, without leaving any inquiry without clarification. The lawyers Sérgio Leonardo and Daniel Bialski also said he can provide further and deeper clarification on the facts, as long as the possibility of collaborating is effectively assured.
The Federal Police had already rejected two previous plea deal proposals made by the businessman. The reasons for these rejections were not specified in the article.
