Constitutional Court decides today on the controversial Return Law after Seguro's doubts

The Constitutional Court will announce this Friday the decision on the doubts raised by the President of the Republic, António José Seguro, regarding the so-called Return and Asylum Law.

Seguro's doubts were presented to the Constitutional Court to analyze the constitutionality of this law.

The announcement of the decision is scheduled for today, Friday, by the Constitutional Court.

This law has been the subject of debate and controversy, leading to the intervention of the President of the Republic to submit the question to the court.

The Livre party announced that it respects the decision of the Constitutional Court that considered constitutional the norms of the diploma on granting asylum and return of foreigners, but reiterated its criticisms of the law.
