Carlos Moedas, the mayor of Lisbon, returned to demand the police officers that had been promised for the capital. This issue of security in Lisbon was one of the main themes that marked the start of the week.
Pedro Bugalho, for his part, resumed the comparisons between the PS and Chega, in a discourse that has been characteristic of the PSD.
Both themes returned to the social democrat discourse, after having been in the spotlight at the beginning of the week. Security and the alignment between the PS and Chega thus returned to dominate the PSD's political communication.
