Judicial Police of Guarda arrests suspected drug trafficker at nightlife venues

The Judicial Police of Guarda arrested a suspected drug trafficker at nightlife venues in the region. The operation resulted in the capture of the individual, who already had prior criminal records related to the same type of crime.

The suspect was on parole due to previous convictions for drug trafficking and qualified theft. This was not the first time the individual had trouble with the law for drug-related crimes.

After the arrest, the suspect will be brought before the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action of Guarda. At this court, a precautionary measure will be applied to the defendant, which may include restrictions on liberty while the proceedings are ongoing.
