Chega's leader, André Ventura, threatened to censure the Government should Prime Minister Luís Montenegro not dismiss the Minister of Internal Administration. This threat comes as a response to some unspecified situation in the article related to this minister.
In the PSD, Chega's initiative is played down by the social democrats, who do not consider the censure motion a serious threat to the executive. The minority party in the Government does not give significant importance to this political maneuver.
