TC declares Return Law "is not unconstitutional"

The Constitutional Court decided that the Return Law is not unconstitutional. This decision comes after an evaluation requested by the President of the Republic, António José Seguro.

The decree had been questioned due to doubts of incompatibility with the Constitution. António José Seguro requested the evaluation in July, leading the Constitutional Court to analyze the legislation.

After analysis, the Constitutional Court concluded that there are no grounds to consider the Return Law unconstitutional, thus validating the legislation in question.
