Bugalho: Ventura's threat does not weaken the Government

The PSD spokesperson responded to the Chega leader André Ventura's threats, guaranteeing that they do not weaken the Government. PSD and Chega have maintained a close relationship, with the social democrats counting on Ventura's party's abstention to pass the 2025 State Budget.

The spokesperson recalled that "the composition of the Government is a prerogative of the prime minister" and that "the houses the Government is giving are more important than Dr. Ventura's threats." This statement comes after André Ventura threatened to support a motion of no confidence against the Executive.

The PSD emphasized that the priorities of the moment are housing and support for Portuguese families, and not political threats. The party highlighted that the country cannot stop because of political tensions between the parties supporting the Budget.
