A 40-year-old man was arrested by the Judicial Police on suspicion of two crimes of qualified homicide in its consummated form. The arrest occurred following a religious dispute that ended in a bloodbath.

The suspect was captured outside national territory and subsequently extradited to Portugal, where he was subject to weekly presentations to the authorities and the obligation to remain at home during nighttime hours, while the proceedings are ongoing.

The authorities have not yet revealed the identity of the victims or the complete details of the circumstances in which the crimes occurred. The case continues to be investigated by the Judicial Police.
